Today,
#Gammalsvenskby (
#Zmiivka, the city in Ukraine where
#Swedes live) was bombed again by
#RussiaTerrorState. This time the museum and caffe were destroyed, another war crime of
#RussianTerrorists . Just recently, during my business trip to the Democracy Week in Sweden (
Almedalsveckan), where Carpathian Sea Democracy Week, ICLD – Swedish International Centre for Local Democracy and Mayor of
#Visby were discussing the democracy frontline, strengthening support of Ukraine, cooperation between 12 pairs of Ukrainian and Swedish cities,
#RussiaTerrorist has bombed 20 buildings and ancient churches, leaving civilians, Swedes and Ukrainians in this settlement without a roof over a head and the richest cultural heritage of
#Gammalsvenskby , once more proving that russian terrorists are committing genocide of culture and civilians.
Terrorists are afraid of
#democracy , historical truth, local governance. Cultural heritage, critical thinking, mass media are democratic weapons, the way to fight Russian propaganda. Thank you, @Lars Thomsson and @SofiaHoas for all the support and sharing the information from @Gammalsvenskby. We need to strengthen further the cooperation between Ukrainian and Swedish cities, institutions, NGOs.
