As part of the Democratic Week of the Carpathian Sea 2026, a panel discussion titled “Rehabilitation” will take place, focusing on recovery, social reintegration, and support for people affected by war and crisis-related challenges.
The discussion will address modern approaches to physical, psychological, and social rehabilitation, the role of the state, civil society, and international partners in building effective rehabilitation systems, as well as current challenges faced by the sector.
Special attention will be given to the accessibility of rehabilitation services, interdisciplinary approaches, the development of local rehabilitation centers, professional training, and ensuring a dignified quality of life for individuals on their recovery journey.
The panel will bring together experts, representatives of medical and rehabilitation institutions, civil society organizations, charitable foundations, and public authorities.
The event aims to foster expert dialogue, exchange best practices, and develop a shared vision for rehabilitation as a vital component of a resilient, inclusive, and humane society.
