The main idea of ​​the event is the cooperation of state institutions (ministries, agencies, etc.), public and charitable organizations, as well as the active participation of foreign and Ukrainian scientists, politicians, civil servants and officials, and business in discussing at panel discussions the prospects for regional development, reconstruction and modernization, the creation of new clusters, the development of new areas of industry, services, advertising, research, and culture.

The Carpathian Sea Democracy Week is a prototype of an innovative annual democratic festival held in the countries of Northern Europe and the Baltics. Our organization is called upon to promote the values ​​of democracy, inclusiveness, and sustainable development through engagement in dialogue and open debates. From April 22 to 26, 2024, we successfully held the first “Carpathian Sea Democracy Week”, which was attended both online and offline by such distinguished figures as the President of the Nordic Council of the Nordic Council, the President of the Storting, the President of the Baltic Assembly, the Head of the NATO Mission, embassies of the Nordic and Baltic countries, as well as members of the Estonian and Icelandic parliaments, deputies of the Oslo City Council, mayors of Ukrainian cities, representatives of influential think tanks, Oscar and Nobel Peace Prize laureates, as well as representatives of the ICLD, the Swedish Institute, etc.

We plan to attract representatives of more than 14 European countries, the USA, the UK, representatives of the Nordic Council, the Baltic Assembly, deputies, politicians, officials, representatives of public and private foundations to participate in the festival in 2026. In general, we plan to attract up to 500 active participants and up to 600 visitors per day, and the total number of festival visitors is expected to exceed 2,000 people.

It is planned that state institutions, including ministries, public organizations, charitable foundations, political parties, embassies and other institutions, will place tents with a capacity of 20 to 50 people to actively demonstrate achievements and discuss important issues for the public and citizens, where they will hold open discussions on development areas, conduct surveys and work on possible solutions to existing problems for the benefit of Ukraine and society. Thematic reports will be held in parallel at several venues, and at this time a festival of street food and delicacies will operate so that vacationers also become part of the action and the process of exchanging opinions, suggestions, assessments and, of course, visions and criticism.
