As part of the Democratic Week of the Carpathian Sea 2026, a panel discussion titled “Revival of Ukraine. Infrastructure Development” will take place, focusing on the country’s recovery, sustainable development, and the modernization of infrastructure systems.

The panel will address key priorities for Ukraine’s post-war recovery, the role of infrastructure in supporting economic growth, social cohesion, and quality of life, as well as the challenges and opportunities of rebuilding amid ongoing security risks.

Special attention will be given to the development of transport, housing, energy, and social infrastructure, the application of sustainability, inclusivity, and transparency principles, and the involvement of communities, the private sector, and international
partners in recovery processes.

The discussion will bring together representatives of government institutions, local authorities, experts, civil society organizations, and international partners.

The event aims to foster expert dialogue, exchange experience, and develop a shared vision for Ukraine’s revival through the development of modern, resilient, and democratic infrastructure.
