Panel Discussion

As part of the Democratic Week of the Carpathian Sea 2026, a panel discussion titled “Human Rights and Their Protection, Community Cohesion” will take place, opening the thematic discussion series of the event.

The panel aims to create an open dialogue on key challenges in the field of human rights, the role of civil society, and the importance of strong, cohesive communities in times of social transformation and crisis. Participants will discuss how human rights are implemented at the local level, which protection mechanisms are most effective today, and how communities can become centers of resilience, solidarity, and democratic development.

The discussion will bring together representatives of civil society organizations, experts, activists, and practitioners working on human rights, community cohesion, and democratic processes.
This panel discussion will serve as an important platform for exchanging experiences, developing shared approaches, and strengthening cross-sector cooperation in the pursuit of a resilient and democratic society.
